The Enablement Seminar Series are quarterly sessions designed to tackle emerging and relevant topics in the software and ITO sector.

The sessions are open to the general public to encourage discourse between industry, academe, government and other industry support-sector partners on how the software and IT Outsourcing sector is evolving and its effects in the local and international business environment.

51st Enablement Seminar

A smooth dive into the realm of software testing as PSIA held it's 51st Enablement Seminar last September 14, 2023, Thursday at FEU Tech Innovation Center. Our speakers smoothly navigated their way into the realm of software testing with Mr. Esmeraldo De Guzman of Orange and Bronze’s Cypress, Ms. Kamille Agregado of Stratpoint Technologies’ Performance Testing, and Mr. Vernon Cenzon of QE 360’s Percy discussions. They shared and uncovered strategies, tools, and concepts vital for ensuring software quality, and seamless user experience.

50th Enablement Seminar

The PSIA successfully held its 50th Enablement Seminar entitled "Agile Release Planning 101" last July 5, 2023, Wednesday. Our speakers from Orange and Bronze, Mr. Adam Breen and Ms. Michaelle Tabilin discussed the use of Agile in Business Practices that can future-proof our business.

49th Enablement Seminar

The PSIA successfully conducted its first hybrid Enablement Seminar on PostgresQL. Our second speaker, Mr. Adrian Dayrit, led the discussion on maximizing the capabilities of RDBMS and how Postgres can be utilized in most cases.

As security become a crucial component in today's digital world, where everything can be found and used online. PSIA successfuly held it's seminar entitled "I SIRF, U SURF, CRFS" last September 22,2022, Thursday, at 4-6 Pm via Zoom Webinar. The speakers addresses the address the specifics of a forgery attack and its other security measures - what is CSRF, common misconceptions about the CSRF attack, and how hard it is for normal pen-testers to find it.
